GIM participated in the first "Data Analytics & Insights Salon" (DAIS) with a virtual exhibitor booth and a presentation on GIM Traces. The event format combines a virtual trade fair with a virtual congress and was organized by the trade magazine planung&analyse.
City of Relevance: GIM Exhibitor Booth (March 24 & 25)
A trip through the "City of Relevance" awaited the visitors in the virtual GIM Lounge. Specifically, background information was presented on offerings and topics such as the geo-tracking approach GIM Traces, our future research GIM foresight or our competencies in the field of Data Science. GIM experts were also available for personal talks at the booth.
Insights from Outside: GIM presentation (March 25, 1:40 p.m.)
On the second day of the congress, Silke Moser and Dr. Jörg Munkes presented the unique geolocation tracking tool GIM Traces at 1:40 p.m.. Using various cases, they showed how location data can be linked with target group knowledge and what insights this can generate for companies with mobile target groups (e.g. from the research fields of retail, advertising impact, urban mobility).
P&a panel discussion with GIM analytics (March 25, 6 p.m.)
At the end of DAIS, Dr. Jörg Munkes (Managing Director, GIM) discussed the topic "Data analytics are more and more the basis of insights" with Karin Immenroth (RTL) and Dr. Nina Meinel (Syncier Analytics) in the virtual panel discussion of planung&analyse.
