GIM with lecture on Generation Z
"Generation Z - who's that?" GIM Senior Consultant Dr. Sigrid Schmid and GIM Corporate Director Dr. Jörg Munkes answered this question in their keynote speech on 28 March at the DLM Symposium 2019.
The DLM Symposium was organized by "die medienanstalten" (the umbrella brand of the 14 state media institutions in Germany) and took place at the dbb forum berlin. This year's motto of the event was "Generation Z - The Unknown Being in the New Ad Tech Cosmos? What media, marketing and advertising need to reach the new target group".
The two GIM speakers Dr. Sigrid Schmid and Dr. Jörg Munkes explained: "From childhood on in the digital world and in social networks at home, Generation Z is experienced in dealing with advertising messages and at the same time very keen to consume. Their concrete everyday decisions are marked by a high degree of uncertainty and they are permanently open to external orientation: Good storytelling of brands and media plays a decisive role in this".
