Sebastian Klein at the “Qualitative Research Summit” in Cracow
Over the next few weeks, researchers from GIM will be attending all kinds of events where they will be reporting on current studies by the Institute and on research issues in general.
Senior Research Manager Sebastian Klein will kick things off tomorrow in Cracow. The renowned European Sociological Association (ESA) is holding a 3-day summit there on qualitative research approaches.
Together with Dr. Alexa Kunz from the Karlsruher Institute of Technology (KIT), Sebastian Klein will talk about a “classic” qualitative research tool: the diary or journal. This presentation is entitled “Old school, new school? Diary methods as mobile methods par excellence.” It links current scientific insights into diary-based research (doctoral thesis: A. Kunz) with GIM’s practical experiences with the method.
