Founded in 1987 as a market research institute in Heidelberg, GIM has become one of the leading full-service institute with a qualitative focus in Germany (context 2005).

GIM's headquarter is based in Heidelberg and has branches in Berlin, Moscow, Zürich and Lyon as well as the trend research and innovation management department GIM argo, also based in Heidelberg. We focus on qualitative and increasingly also on quantitative research.

Reacting to the increased complexity of markets, globalisation and individualisation, GIM develops new methods and perspectives that allow for a better understanding of consumers, their motives and consumption patterns, and changes in the market. After all, successful decisions in today's market depend on just such an understanding. On this note, GIM stands for transdisciplinary, customised research.
