    Drugstores yesterday, today and tomorrow

From June 30th to July 1st, the German Drugstore Congress 2010 will take place in Cologne. GIM’s POS expert Dr. Stephan Telschow will hold the opening presentation “Drugstores in Change – Drugstore Shoppers Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”. Telschow, head of GIM Berlin, will shed light on the success of the store concept “drug store“ from the consumer’s point of view: he will explain to trade experts the reasons why a drugstore is interesting for consumers and also which purchase barriers need to be overcome.

Drugstores consistently focus their business on the interests of consumers and manufacturers – their concept adeptly sets itself apart from pharmacies and conventional retail. That’s very popular: while market saturation, consumer reluctance and competition in form of e-commerce are challenging German retail trade, the drugstore industry is constantly growing. Will this trend go on? Dr. Telschow will also answer this question within his presentation at the congress.

The congress will be organised by the conference event organisation EUROFORUM.
