“Understanding the homo digitalis“ – GIM at the BVM symposium on April 21 in Frankfurt

Understanding the ‘homo digitalis’ means to pick him up where he communicates, socializes and, therefore, is highly receptive! The internet, as the essential part of nowaday’s information, communication and networking system offers this opportunity in particular.

Together with Dr Barbara Lang from Sanofi-Aventis Germany, GIM’s online expert Dr Mohini Krischke-Ramaswamy introduces the online focus group discussion as one way to get in contact with respondents in the virtual world. Presenting the results of an internal qualitative study by GIM, Mohini Krischke-Ramaswamy will explore the advantages this method is offering to corporate clients and qualitative researchers: Which interviewing technique and topics are suitable to be implemented online? In what way can health care companies benefit from qualitative online discussions?

Among others, Dr Gerhard Keim and Hanna Knorr from GIM will be moderators of the symposium. They are part of the AKQa team taking charge of the concept, organization and implementation of the conference.
