« backCosmetics in times of crisis – GIM at 5th EUROFORUM annual cosmetics conference in Cologne
As one of the congress speakers GIM's trend researcher Dr. Kerstin Ullrich will talk about the LOHAS-trend in the cosmetics industry at the EUROFORUM annual cosmetics conference taking place on March 4th and 5th.
On the basis of a current study Ullrich analyzes the importance of the LOHAS-trend for the (natural) cosmetics market. Discussed topics will be: “What different cosmetic concepts and understanding of care can be found in the different segments of LOHAS?”, “What do they expect from natural cosmetics?” or “Which development potential does this segment have?”.
Under this year’s theme “Cosmetics – from wait-and-see to concrete acting” national and international trend-watchers, market researchers and business leaders will discuss the potential of global cosmetic brands and give an outlook on the future of current premium and luxury cosmetics. Alternative sales markets beyond drug stores and perfumeries will be introduced. Furthermore, leading experts from distribution and consumer goods industry will talk about their strategies and concepts of success.
