GIM BERLIN
Full Service and Specialised Research
In the beginning, in 2001, GIM Berlin researched the “urban consumers in one of the most dynamic cities in Europe“.
By now, GIM Berlin has become a successful full service institute that does both, qualitative and quantitative research in all categories using established method standards.
During the past years, we have constantly been developing new methods to find innovative solutions for all the new topics and research questions we have met with. Our team consists of experts in ethnologic, psychological and economic disciplines.
The location in the capital enables special research focuses:
- Ethnic marketing: target group-specific research in a multiethnic society for the market of the future.
- Public sector: research for the public sector: research facilities and institutes, political institutions, trusts, foundations and associations, public authorities and administrative departments, public utilities, health insurance companies
- Gateway to the East: Berlin as sample point for cross-country comparisons of consumer cultures and consumer behaviours
- Trend-safaris: Berlin, the new New York, a city that is characterized by creative people. GIM Berlin shows you what is ”hot” today in Berlin – and tomorrow maybe all over Germany.
- Mobility: modern urban mobility. Closeness to transportation companies.
Qualitative and quantitative
We do both, qualitative and quantitative research and we see the particular benefits of linking qualitative and quantitative research modules. In this way, our customers get complementary results that are a perfect basis for sustainable decisions.
The team
At GIM Berlin we practice interdisciplinary teamwork: ethnologists, social scientists, economists and psychologists use their expert knowledge to tackle the respective questions and challenges.
Head of the office in Berlin is Dr. Stephan Telschow.
